Hardware Specifications


  • 1.26” screen, 144 x 168 pixel display black and white e-paper which is about 1/6th of an iPhone 5 screen size. (Ultra low power “memory LCD” technology)
  • The rechargeable battery keeps Pebble going for 7+ days
  • Bluetooth 2.1+ EDR and 4.0 (Low energy). The current firmware does not support 4.0 technology yet. Pebble official stated this will be part of an upcoming update.
  • 4 buttons
  • 3-axis accelerometer with gesture detection, again, much like in a smartphone
  • Vibrating motor, much like a smartphone
  • Recharge phone battery through USB interface
  • waterproof using adhesive gel. It is ok to drop water on it, but it is not recommended to use it for diving. Waterproof rating of 5 atm meaning it can be submerged up to 165 feet(fresh and saltwater)
  • Standard 22mm watch band
  • Memory can store up to 8 apps and/or watch faces
  • Scratch and shatter resistant lens with an anti-glare optical coating
  • The backlight intensity is faint and is not meant to brighten the area around you but merely a way to allow you to read the time
  • Pebble has a scratch and shatter resistant lens with an anti-glare optical coating.
